TRAVEL PROGRAMME · 15 DAYS

France, through Time
by Margaux

15 days of encounters, heritage and gourmet discoveries. From Paris to the landscapes of the Périgord, this journey crosses France through its history, craftsmanship and art de vivre.

After a first immersion in Paris and a visit to Versailles, the journey continues to Bordeaux, amid heritage, vineyards and the French art de vivre. A day in a vintage car then invites you to take the road through the vineyard landscapes, punctuated by a wine estate visit and tasting.

The journey then heads to the Périgord, where history is told through stone, rivers and traditions: Dordogne villages and châteaux, a gabarre boat ride on the river, Joséphine Baker’s singular story at the Château des Milandes, the Lascaux caves, a gilding workshop with a former Versailles gilder, and a discovery of the Périgord truffle. The trip ends in Rocamadour, between heritage, landscapes and traditions, with a goat-cheese farm visit and tasting at La Borie d’Imbert.
